How good is Blender for product visualization? The followings are some of the recent product vids made with Blender by artists and students around the world.

Buyeon GRS is a wholesaler and manufacturer, dealing with thousands of bottled water retailers in South Korea. In need of decent photos of its product lines for its new website (www.ipgmall.co.kr), it turned to DIGITAL MIRAGE (www.digitalmirage3d.com). The result surpassed the expectation of the owner of the company--Mr. Kim, Jeom Yeol--and that of the artist at DIGITAL MIRAGE, George Kim.
“The results of using Global Illumination in Blender’s Internal render engine was quite impressive. Mr. Kim took most of the renders as photos. He was especially pleased with Blender’s capability of rendering vinyl material, which a photographer at his company failed to capture successfully with a physical camera,” says George.
Thanks to his new website, mostly featuring Blender-driven product visualization, the company has gain greater trust among his clients, believes Mr. Kim--the owner of Buyeon GRS. And as a result, Mr. Kim has asked DIGITAL MIRAGE to create all its future product visualization for his website.

Although Blender might not be an ideal tool for new product design, it has definitely turned out to be a great renderer for product visualization.
