Good Arch Viz studios or artists are not common in the market as evident in their published works. Where can you find competent Arch Viz artists? How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artist(s), some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.
(Individual comments and observations made by the artists does not necessarily represent official views of www.BlenderNews.org.)
"Stew & Minor" Hotel
by Mike Rodionov
I'm a 3D artist working in Arch Viz for 9 years. Started with 3dsmax, but because of its bugs switched to Blender and now do my job with Blender, since 2007. I'm available for freelancing, my portfolio is at: https://www.fl.ru/users/easydream/
About "Stew & Minor" Hotel:
This is a concept project for building development. The hotel will be in Seattle, Bellevue. Client was in a hurry and it is was a rush project, all was combined and rendered for 5 days in total. all interiors and exterior. Also it was not only a VIZ project. BC client did not have any wishes, they just asked me "to make something modern and comfortable". The only thing that i had from them is floor plan without any marks--just walls and door locations.
