Good Arch Viz studios or artists are not common in the market as evident in their published works. Where can you find competent Arch Viz artists & studios? How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artists and studios, some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.

Living Room
by Paulina Kochanowicz
Renderer: Yafaray

Artist's Comment
About Me:
My name is Paulina Kochanowicz. I live in Warsaw, Poland. I’m an architect and designer. I have my own studio - House of Render - where I’m working as interior and product designer and 3D artist.
About "Living Room:"
This scene is a part of an entire apartment project in Warsaw which I co-designed. Visualization is a good solution to show a client how their apartment could look like, before they take the final decision. This renders was made in Blender 2.63 and rendered in Yafaray using Photon Mapping system. It’s lit by white IBL, area lamps in each window and a sun.
I started to work in Blender about half year ago and I love it. Earlier I worked in Archicad which is a great software for making architectural documentation but I always have some problems with modeling a furniture in it. I wanted to be able to make entire model from scratch by using one software, and Blender allows me to do this. And now the only obstacle is my imagination.

Renderer: Cycles

Artist's Comment
About Me:
My name is Aleksey Netkachev. I live in a Russian city of Samara. Became interested in 3D design 7 years ago, firstly it was only hobby. Since 2006, I started working in this area, mostly with architects and furniture manufacturers.
Since 2009, I started using Blender. Introduction of Cycles changed the work quality in a much better way. And presence of GPU rendering convinced me to choose Cycles. For more information about my works visit my blog http://my-blender-artwork.blogspot.ru
About "Classic kitchen:"
This project was made for local kitchen manufacturer's printed catalog and web site. It was interesting to work on this project because of lots of details and elements.
