Check out what helped this week's winner to raise his art to a perfection!

How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of  February 22, 2021: Erick Choy.

Artist's Comment
About Me:
I’m Erick Choy (26) from Venezuela. I’m a Blender use since 2020, I’m living in Perú at this moment which is my second nationality.

About "The Queen’s Gambit – Beth Harmon, Social Scene":
The Project has been titled “ The Queen’s Gambit – Beth Harmon, Social Scene" because the whole scene belongs to a particular moment from the Queen’s Gambit series.
It was very fun to use the imagination to tell a story by the images, and the scene has some details that maybe won’t be discovered by the people for example the Chess Board with the pieces placed that way, the pills, cigarettes, alcohol, and the disorder just coming from the White side of the chessboard (Beth Harmon). “The Twenty one Pilots” poster in the wall, etc.
As I said it was very fun and there is something that I wouldn’t like to miss, the incessant and unconditional help of my wife Angie Vásquez, whose job was being the pickiest person in the world and the person who said “It’s time, you’re not able to make more modifications”, for me she was the key of this scene.
Once again we are very grateful for receiving feedback and being noticed by you all, we really appreciate it, I and my picky wife will work in more scenes and hope to receive some feedback from you, thanks so much, blessing!
