Why aren't some top-notch renders not given immediate attention that they deserve? One reason could be that it's quite risky for the administrator(s) of a forum or a site to feature a work which origin is quite unclear as to who the creator is or how it was made, such as if it was really made with Blender at all. Render of the Week Award thus can serves as a perfect opportunity to prove the genuineness of your artistic excellence.

How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best  work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you  the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of June 24, Viacheslav Korchagin.

Title: "Tomorrow the Wind Blows"

Artist's Comment
About Me:
My name is Viacheslav Korchagin, I live in Ukraine, in the Nikolayev city. I'm working in a design and engineering bureau as its leading specialist. I've been doing CG for the last 11 years. And for the last 2.5 years I've been using Blender for my work. (More of my works done in Blender can be found here: blender3d.org.ua/.user/Hemisphere).

About "Tomorrow the Wind Blows:"
I have long wanted to combine the navy and air force.  Aircraft such as Su-27k passes over the deck of the aircraft carrier project 11435. All events shown in this image are author's fiction, and any match with reality is a coincidence.
