While a lot of professionals are busy making a living day to day by doing the same things over and over without having to learn new skills, apparently a lot of "passion" artists are constantly learning and suddenly find themselves "smarter than average bear." Sometimes far smarter. The lesson? Keep learning. Whoever you are.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, Eevee or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of June 7, 2021: Rémi Tou.

About Me:
My name is Rémi. I do 3D rendering and filmmaking as a passion. I especially enjoy creating fantasy or Sci-fi environment. I’m currently working on my first short movie shot on camera, for which I used Blender a lot for the VFX. I hope I can finish it quite soon.
About "Castle in the Sky:"
Castle in the Sky is a project I did, being inspired by my favorite filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. The purpose of this project was also to practice volume rendering (the clouds) and improve my workflow for animation rendering and compositing.
