Blender used to be regarded "a jack of all trades, master of none." But that "jack" has been getting better in all trades so much that the winner for this week who started using Blender one year ago made his move. Check out his comments.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, Eevee or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of May 31, 2020: Mania Carta.

About Me:
Hello everyone, I am Mania Carta a CG Character Generalist, Technical Artist based in Tokyo Japan, I have been using Blender for almost 1 year, and then it became my main production tool to make any project with it. I also use Unreal, Zbrush, Substance, Marvelous, and many other tools but I really wanted to make everything with one tool only and Blender helped me achieve that. Blender is a real powerful tool especially when combined with add-ons.
First I would to say to every artists who want to grow there skills and knowledge in this business, Arstation, CGsociety and 3dtotal are the best source to make you grow, if you have the passion to grow seeing what other talented artists make and create, then nothing is impossible, that’s what I did, I have passion on what I make and this it motivate me every time to grow my skills without stop by using Blender only.
About "나는 마녀 니페리야"("I am the witch Niferia"):
It’s in korean and which is mean "I am the witch Niferia."
This time my influence was korean culture and especially the way Niferia look.
Niferia is a blind dark witch, she was raised from the death by the god of chaos Enix the most powerful of all gods, as for her mission she need to bring back Justine Velmont the god of darkness who was destroyed by the Angel of lights 6000 years ago. If Velmont will rise the world of Linerma will be destroyed, but there is only one person who can stop her.
This time I really wanted to push the bar very high and create a realistic evil female character that anyone can see her thinking she is really a real person , but instead of using cycle I wanted to push my self again to create realism using Eevee and SSGI helped me to get that feeling among other techniques I developed, thanks to this Blender Artist who provided this free add-on, still I think it need some improvement especially the noise but overall it’s really good. This is the link for the add-on:

I always like to push my self to create characters that have soul and strong character feeling and Niferia is one of them, also I focused this time on giving to Niferia strong design, characteristic, feeling and expression and not only a T-pose that I was doing before, I really this time pushed the bar high but it was worth it to achieve that kind of level that I never did before in any of my previous work and still I am looking forward to create more appealing characters with strong personality and design in real-time that the people can enjoy in the future.
I want to thanks Blender team again for their hard works to make Blender free but also shine in the business industry with every update and get robust as a tool for any project.
