Even with the advent of Cycles, Blender Internal--the original render engine of Blender--still seems to be a viable option for artists and studios looking for fast and quality render engine.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the second-time winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of November 16, 2015: Pratik Solanki.

About Me:
I am Pratik Solanki, the co-founder of Weybec Studios (India). I have been in this field for the last 8 to 9 years. I am glad that Blender has been one of the awesome part of it and look forward to more awesomeness.
About "The Sparrow:"
It was a simple test of checking the limits of Blender Internal--one of Blender's internal render engines. It was quite challenging to manage realistic ambient lighting with fur and feathers but it came out really well. I hope you guys like it. It took 1 min to render one frame in Blender Internal.
