An unexpected turned of event happened in the 3D industry thanks to 3D printers. Blender is a top-notch tool for creating props for 3D prints. Check out how a seasoned traditional artist has come to view Blender.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of November 20, 2017: Sardushkin Maxim.
Title: "Daenerys Targaryen"

About Me:
I'm Sardushkin Maxim. I'm a self-taught freelance artist from Russia. (I used to work as a tattooist and a traditional painter using air-brush. I even wrote on oil painting and portraits.) In November 2014, for the first time in life, I tried modeling in Blender and fell in love with digital sculpture! Now I'm fully immersed in learning Blender. And I'll be eternally grateful to the creators of Blender for their work!
(* Editor's note: Sardushkin doesn't speak English and this is an edited version of his Google translated comments.)
About "Daenerys Targaryen:"
This was a private commission. The client was inspired by the TV series and I realized his little dream.
