How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artist(s), some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.
Workplace & Winter Bedroom:
by Jan Vopička
My name is Jan and I focus on realistic 3D visualizations. I discovered Blender this summer and I'm having tremendous amounts of fun with it and I enjoy the process of learning it's possibilities. I got interested in architectural renders because of my girlfriend who is a student of architecture and helped me when I was starting.
it was one of my first serious attempts at interior design and also the first time I used filmic color management - which I absolutely love. It was an exercise when I took a photo I liked on the Pinterest and tried to somehow recreate it in my own way.
This one I did as a possible portfolio piece for future references, I used portals and HDRi to light this scene. Postproduction I did in photoshop. It came out nicely and now I would like to spend the night there.
