Readiness to learn from other's feedback can be a great way to speed up your maturity as an artist. As such, check out the work and threads of this week's winner.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of November 2, 2020: Jared Mondragon.

Artist's Comment
About Me:
I am a digital artist working in southern California for the past five years. I trained in college in Fine Arts and eventually pursued digital arts later on leading me to get a job as a visual artist and 3D modeler at an engineering consulting company.
About "Swamp House:"
This is a fun personal project I did based off of a sketch I did a while ago. I wanted to capture what a small house would look like in a swamp environment. Having the house connected to the large tree added more interest to the image. It allows the viewer to wonder what the inside of the house would look like being integrated into the tree. I do plan on modeling the interior of the house eventually, so follow me @jared_m_design on Instagram if you would like to see that when it’s completed.
