Check out what the winner for this week found after switching to Blender for 2 years.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, Eevee or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of May 2, 2022: Mania Carta.

About Me:
Hello from Tokyo, I am Mania Carta a Blender Artist. I have been using Blender for almost two years now and it really became my main tool for any project I want to produce. It can be Anime style, Fantasy, Realistic, Environment, Visual Effect, Editing, Compositing. With Blender you have the freedom to make anything if you have the passion first.
I love from softwares games, especially this two masterpieces, Bloodborne and Dark Souls but then when Elden Rings released and I played I was so impressed by the gameplay, story and many other things that Dark Souls didn’t have before.
About "Fire Keeper Ishtolia:"
I educated myself once I took this journey with Blender to make something unique that I have never done before with it. This is why I took a big challenge to make her.
I have already did that with Sister Friede and got many awards and features but I wanted to make something beyond that.
At first I wanted to created only a character with lighting and shading then say it’s done but I said to myself i am going to raise the bar again then I asked myself what was missing, after that I found the answer, making character without a story and only turntable rendering it’s nice but boring so the challenge was to go beyond that, first create a full environment in real time, second create not only one character design but make a cinematic with a story that anyone will see it they will think it’s a screenshot from the game.
And I wanted to make it only with Blender and in real time, it was challenging and fun at the same time.
I think during the making of Ishtolia I gained some skills and speed that I never had before and still I am developing more techniques and beyond that.
And now with the new release of Blender I am going to have fun enjoying my next project in real time but with something much more.
So for any artist who want to move to Blender I am going to tell you this: If you touch Blender you will be teleported to another dimension where only freedom of creativity exist and it doesn’t have any limits from any 3D software I've used in my whole careers.
