In addition to celebrating the exceptional talents of artists using Blender, Render of the Week Award has also been giving the viewers an exclusive insight into how the stunning arts had been made by revealing the wireframes and textures. And it's certainly amazing to see how these talented artists have turned average materials and textures into stunning arts.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

About "The Rabbit and the Train"
This was created for a Christmas contest, held by Andrew Price (Blenderguru) - and won the first place. In the commentary, Andrew mentioned that complimentary color palette and framing really helps to sell this composition. Generally speaking, it was a pretty tough scene to render, due to numerous particles and hair, seen through the glass (oO). Tweaked settings a lot, to find a compromise between speed and noise. That said, Cycles did the job, slowly but steadily. I'd like to say thanks to Blender community (there were many great works in the competition), and also Andrzej and Marcin from Renegatt.com, who helped me immensely with trying various render settings.
