Blender can be a great tool for creating good video footage with relatively low budget. Without expensive camera equipment and sets and crews, Blender can do the job even without location/time limitations. You need, though & of course, good CG artists like this week's winner.
How, then, can you qualify for this award? Please remember that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. Please submit your latest work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other renderer is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

My name is Erwin Sokólski, I'm from Warsaw, Poland, and I'm 25 years old. I'm a student of Mechatronics at Warsaw University of Technology. I like working as a 3D artist, it’s my hobby. About "Lab":
This project was made for the Biological and Chemical Research Centre, University of Warsaw. The main goal was to create, soft, cartoon-ish presentation of the laboratories in the Centre. I like creating stylized renders, it’s a lot of fun. I’ve decided to combine hand painted (sort of childish brush strokes) textures with realistic shaders to get that funny look.
