Well, you might not need to live near Hollywood to make blockbuster movies after all.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of Week of March 9, 2020: Nilushan Rajakaruna.
Title: Alternate KONG:Skull Island Movie Trailer - With Blender
Hey, I’m Nilushan Rajakaruna from Sri Lanka- I’ve always been a fan of blender since 2009 my high school days. Although I started using Maya back then I always felt confident and free within my self to use this amazing software. I believe using it for better use is the best way to give back to blender, and the Blender community apart from subscriptions.
About "Alternate KONG:Skull Island Movie Trailer - With Blender:"
the title speaks for itself, an abandoned house in the middle of the forest.
The render was made for Blender52, Blender52 is an event where you get a different theme every week and you create something what the weeks theme means for you.
(theme: Abandoned) It had to be made fast so I didn’t really care about the topology. I only focused on the environment and the end result.
