One thing the winners of the Render of the Week Award seems to have in common is their passion for traditional art. The 3D tool--Blender in this case--is exactly what it is: a tool to express their artistic excellence. And Blender has come a long away to become one of the most effective 3D tools available today. Blender artists the world over are just grateful for all the developers and others who made this tool available for all.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

About Me:
My name is Alessandro Chiffi I'm twenty-seven, and I live in Italy. I've always had a great passion for sculpture and art in general. I used several 3D software, but I started doing graphics using Blender self-taught, and it still remains one of the programs I use most frequently in my workflow. And as if it were my first love, I'll never forget.
About "Alien - Battle:"
This small project is the construction of a small banner presentation for courses held blender here in Italy. The ultimate goal was to get just a little still, and that's why I did not want to dwell much on the post-processing of the image or large color or texture of a particular set of lights. But I wanted to dedicate more to the stage of sculpt and made organic character.
