About Me:
My name Glen Johnston and I am currently the lead 3D artist at Touzie Tyke, a small animation studio in Glasgow, Scotland. I have been using Blender for about 4 years now and like most Blender users I am completely self-taught.
About "Gretsch:"
During some free time in the studio my boss decided we should make some nice promotional pieces to showcase our 3D work. Up until that point we have mostly done 2D projects and lost some of the higher end 3D jobs to other studios. He essentially gave me free range to create what I wanted as long as it looked cool and companies could easily see how we could do similar pieces with their product. After about 4 days of work and a weekend of rendering it was ready to be released. I was happy with the result and the clients we sent it to have responded very positively and it has already landed us some new commissions.
