About Me:
My Name is Christoph Werner. I am a freelance CG Artist, Art Director and Tutor living in Germany. My career started in the game industry in 1991. I am responsible for the graphics of over 20 international game titles. Besides my work for the games industry I am realizing also 2D and 3D projects for clients of other fields like publishers, agencies or companies.
About "Speculo:"
Creating individual designs is something really exciting and I love to do. Besides my daily work, it is an infinite source of motivation to create clean and puristic artworks with small eyecatchers, like the leaf or the moving fluids in this example. In this case, I had the idea of a puristic modern glass, which had to move away from the traditional wine glass designs. First I've made the "quiet" version, where the wine is just in the glass. The idea for a "wine explosion" or movement came later and was a great possibility to experiment with the current fluid features in Blender.
