Cars could be the last thing that a potential employer would look for in your portfolio. But what if they feature exceptional concept arts? Well, that's a different story. The winner for this week obviously has an exceptional talent for creating beautiful paint designs for cars.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of May 6, Ettienne Vorster.

About Me:
Recently turned 23 years old, I reside in South Africa. I got interested in 3D design a few years back when I was still a massive hardcore gamer. Computer games and CG Movies like Iron Man and Transformers had a big influence on the way I designed any of my rendered images as well as models. My career in 3D design started 14 years ago starting with GMAX back then, though I only had access to internet in the last year and a half. During this time I've made an effort to observe the world more closely and to learn as much as I possibly can from more experienced users in the field. Been using blender 3D for the last 5 years.
About "The Law:"
The Cobretti 477 GT Police edition. An upgraded version from the original 455 GT, the 477 GT features a nice 4.6 Litre Twin Turbo V8. Custom tuned to kick out a hefty 830 BHP onto the four wheel drive system. The Cobretti 477 GT is introduced when no other car can keep up with a car chase. Mean, look, sweet paint job, and absolutely intimidating to see in your rear-view mirror. This baby patrols the highways of the Central Xelus County.
