About Me:
I'm a graphic designer by trade, working for for a in-house agency with primarily print ads. I have been using 3D in my work for over ten years. My main area of expertise is hard body modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering still images.
About "Ball Bearing - Cycles"
Actually, this image was mostly for testing Cycles. Some new features ware added to Cycles that I wanted to try out. The end result was to be somewhat photo-real and that's what I think it is. There are "errors" and things I would do differently if I were to do it today.

About Me:
I'm interested in CGI since "Toy Story" hit the cinemas in the late 90's I guess. But I couldn't motivate myself enough to become an expert.
But in summer 2010 I was in a little project and we used Blender. I'm fascinated since and try to improve my skills.
About "Light Bulbs:"
When I started to create the lightbulbs I knew, that I want to render them in very high resolution, so I modeled high poly without using subsurf. One other thing ... if you don't care about the video let me just say ... I do not recommend the use of these light bulb types, I just wanted to render them in Blender Cycles.
