"Digital trophies are dime a dozen," advised an artist about CG awards. CG competitions are organized for various reasons and, obviously, it is the prerogative of the organizer to decide whom to give their awards to. As such, before joining a competition, though, it would be wise to check who the organizers are, who the sponsors are, and why the competition is being organized. Are CG awards given to the best artists? Sometimes they are, and sometimes they aren't. Render of the Week Award, though, will continue to be given to Blender artists based on their artistic and technical excellence alone.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of June 10, Mariusz Drabik (in collaboration with Maciej Kolendowicz and Jan Biernawski).

About Me:
I'm the owner of a small graphic / architectural studio in Poland. I am a landscape architect from graduate, and 3D graphic artist from passion. My studio offers a full range of 3D visualization services which can help to bring most inconceivable ideas to life. Our 3D visualization services are divided into four key areas: interior visualization, architectural visualization, landscape (exterior) visualization and product visualization. Interior renderings are created on the basis of the project provided by the client or on the basis of an our design. In our work we use open source programs such Blender, Gimp or Inkscape.
About "Gabriela Narutowicza Square:"
I worked on this project in collaboration with Emside (www.emside.pl) and John Biernawski (www.jan.biernawski.pl), but John make only post production to some shots.
