Some renders are so photo-real that it's difficult to be convinced that it's a CG render, as many would find the work of this week's winner!
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of July 18, 2016: Ehouman Nandeya Charles.

About Me:
My name is Ehouman Nandeya Charles alias Sharlybg. I'm currently working for architectural firms and sometimes as freelancer all with Blender.
I've started in 3D world with 3dsmax 9 then switched to Blender 2.49 in year 2009. As I'm passionate about car design--mostly German brands (my favorite Mercedes Benz)--I'd devoted a lot of my time to car modelling to horn my skills in Blender. I used to model lots of car which now I put in all my architectural projects! While many artists may find this method time-consuming, my point of view is completely different. My philosophy is to show without any doubt all the capabilities of Blender as a professional tool while increasing my skills to model complex geometry as quick as possible . So I like to share with the community, project entirely created inside Blender.
About "Mercedes GLE:"
In this "Mercedes GLE " project, my target--in addition of those mentioned above--was to see all new interesting features inside the New Luxrender Luxcore Engine and its strength for heavy 3D professional project . I've only used GPU OpenCL acceleration which is amazing and bloody fast with only one GPU. See for yourself :
Render time: 10 mn
Device: a single R9 390 Nitro
poly count : 22,931,997
Luxcore Sobol PATHOCL API x2
