How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artists, some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.
Ecological Small Buildings

Artist's Comment
About Me:
My name is Yandry Choy. I'm an architect at EMPROY VC and sometimes I've worked as a freelance interior designer here in Cuba. Since I was student, I've made the archviz of my own projects.
About "Ecological Small Buildings:"
This was a joint project with another artist. The project was about the solution for small ecological buildings within a comprehensive landscaping project in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba. The buildings concept is based on the existing mangrove woods, there in CSM. All the work was made in Blender, except the buildings and some free models of nature that I found on the internet. I used a low sampling (150 – 250 samples) during the Cycles's render process because of the time constraints to deliver the project to the client. The images are a bit noisy, but when I printed the entire work, the noise in the pictures was not noticeable. The render times for a collection of 6 renders took about 1 to 2 hours.
