With the impending release of Blender 2.66 likely this weekend, the Blender community's hottest issues seem to be hair rendering in Cycles and Dynamic-topology Sculpting. And some notable renders have been published at www.Blenderartists.org, some of which already have been featured in this Render of the Week Award series as well.

Another notable work done in Blender came from the game developers with an Android game called "Sokoban Garden." It's great to see that "Sokoban" has been receiving most favorable reviews from Android game players. It could be the most successful game ever -- developed in Blender -- at least so far.

Top-notch renders are continuing to be released by Archviz artists as well who are probably  at the forefront of adopting Blender for their needs among industry professionals, and this week's winner is one of them.

How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best  work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you  the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of February 11, 2013: Attila Balough.

Artist's Comment
About Me:
My name is Attila Balogh. I'm an architect and visualizer. In the last years I worked as a lead/partner architect for a medium sized company MM Works (MM Művek) in Budapest. Now I'm living in Brussels and working as a freelancer visualiser.

About "Family Villa Interiors:"
The interior was made as a private project. I used a house which was designed earlier by MM Works for real life project. This was furnished and was used for experimenting with Cycles lights materials and settings. You can check out a making-of article for this render at:
