It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

About Me:
my name is Michi Brandstetter and I am a freelance digital artist based in Vienna, Austria. I’m 38 years old and have been working in the CG industry for about 15 years. I started 3D
back in the days (2000) when there were hardly any resources to learn from, except a couple of books and, of course, trial and error. Therefore I have been working with a lot of different 3D softwares so far. As a general XSI-user I had to think about a new software to work with in the future. About a year ago I started using Blender and have to say ‘I love it!’.

About "Moss-Imp:"
I recently have been to Sweden and fell in love with the forest environment, as everything seems to be covered with moss. Not to forget the lovely smell of the forest, mossy and earthy as it can be! Therefore i created this little moss-monster as a tribute to the forest.
