Beware, BMesh Is Here!

Here is a good news and a bad news. The good news is that Blender 2.63 will be supporting "BMesh," that is, Blender's  N-gons. The bad news is BMesh doesn't seem to mix up well with subdivision modelling. Of course, N-gons are notorious as well for unpredictable subdivision. The release candidate for Blender 2.63 has shown the following result:

Here's another good news, though. Gamefromscratch.com has released a concise tutorial for using BMesh in Blender. The shortest and clearest tutorial ever! Worth checking out:
