An interesting phenomenon continues to be noted among Blender users. Non-3D Graphic professionals--such as art directors, designers, and motion graphic artists--are adding Blender to their skill set with impressive results. The winner for this week is one of them:
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of April 2, 2018: Joseph Conover.

About Me:
I'm Joseph Conover, a 3D artist living in Los Angeles. I've done design work on movies such as Wonder Woman, Pacific Rim Uprising, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. I've been using Blender for 12 years now and it's one of the main programs in my pipeline.
About "Personal Sci-Fi Logo:"
This project was an idea that had been bouncing around in my head for a while. I created an intro and outro for myself with a design inspired by science fiction and old film. A stylized outer space theme with mechanical panels, creeping alien fluid, a wormhole, and a planet is shown and meant to give a dark otherworldly feeling.
