How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artist(s), some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.

About Me:
My name is Bernardo Iraci, I am a 3D generalist from Italy. I started working as a professional artist about 7 years ago in Poland. Last year I moved to Melbourne to follow a job offer as a Lead artist for a VR production company. I always used Blender as my main tool, I love how it has grown so much since when I started using it! I like so much many different aspect of 3D that I never managed to specialize myself in a particular field. That’s why I am a generalist, and honestly I like being one! It’s probably not the best thing to do if you wanna work in a big pipeline, but I feel having an heterogeneous skill set is helpful to find exciting roles in smaller (but not less challenging!) environments. Getting away from a computer is not always
easy, but it’s definitely good from time to time. During those moments I love traveling and here in Australia I’ve been on many amazing hikes. Also watching movies or playing
video-games (even if with the latter as of late is getting hard to find something engaging… am I getting old? :) ) is definitely something I like! I guess it’s hard to beat just having a beer and a chat in good company however!

About "Chiaroscuro:"
I wanted to create a building inspired by Tadao Ando’s style. So this is my take on this kind of architecture. The inside and the outside are connected and can only exist in relation to one another. The name derive from the idea that something cannot exist without its opposite. Light and shadow, high and low, happiness and suffering. Things can get quite complicated, but sometimes if you just find the right perspective, they will suddenly make much more sense.

This was the idea that led me through the project. As of late, I really try to have some leading theme guiding me when I create a work: I feel it really helps me to remain inspired and
to keep the vision alive and clear. Moreover I did this as a weekend project, because I wanted to keep it short to try and translate an idea without being deviated too much
during the process, as it is something that happens to me quite often. It’s not always possible to do something in so little time especially when I am trying to push my technical
knowledge in some particular topic where I am not too comfortable. With this project however, I didn’t go too much outside of my usual workflow so I managed to keep things quite fast
and efficient.
