It's amazing how quickly some discover their hidden potentials through Blender, as did the winner for this week!
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of December 14, 2020: Davi Goldberg.

About Me:
My name is Davi Goldberg, I mainly work as a software developer in Brazil but recently I’ve started moving towards 3D as a freelancer. I started with Blender 2.80 and prior to that I had almost zero experience in 3D. At that time I was in doubt for which 3D package I’d choose (C4D, 3ds Max, Maya). All I can say I’m very happy I chose Blender.
About "Space Trucking:"
For this study all I knew is that I wanted an illustration-like scene of a ship approaching a planet after listening to Deep Purple’s Space Trucking. I mainly focused on improving my composition skills. Everything was modeled in Blender, rendered in Cycles and then some post-processing in Photoshop. Most of the assets were textured in Substance Painter.
