In addition to the series "PRODUCT VISUALIZATION IN BLENDER,"
www.BlenderNews.org is featuring another regular series, showcasing quality Arch Viz realized in Blender,
selected from published artworks for (a) given week(s).  If you would like to have your works featured in this series, please submit your professional-quality Arch Viz
to
www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet.

Good Arch Viz studios or artists are not common in the market as evident in their published works. Where can you find competent Arch Viz artists? How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artist(s), some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.

Artist's Comment
About Me:
I started my adventure with 3D graphics in the middle of 90's with 3D Studio (the predecessor of 3D Studio Max and 3ds Max). When I started study of computer science I put 3D graphics aside. I went back to 3D in 2014 when I started to use Blender on the recommendation of my friend Piotr from Maxelus.net who uses Blender for modeling for mobile apps. I needed a fast education for archviz in Blender, so I signed into Architecture Academy created by BlenderGuru where I learned a lot about modeling and Cycles.

Since Cycles had its own problems with render quality and there was no PBR solution for Cycles at that time, in 2015, I started using Thea Render (with Blender as a modeler). In 2016 I had a short adventure with the Octane Render. When PBR appeared in Cycles, I started to make some trials (the Orange in the Kitchen project). Cycles still needed a huge amount of samples (4k-8k) to give clear renders for interiors so I started to put my interests into Unreal Engine. I bought some Udemy lesson, read many posts on UE4 forum, watched tutorials and started to use UE4.15 in June of 2017 till now.

I still use Cycles for exterior renders and prototypes and use my own made combo archviz material setbox (Archmat) for faster material creation. Blender is my favorite modeling tool that I use incessantly from 2014. I love it and I recommend it to everyone!

About "Bedroom:"
This project had no fancy name since this was just a regular archviz project for one of our clients. Interior was designed by my wife Gosia Muszynska who is an architect. Here I learned how to use Parallax in materials. Now I am creating an advanced and complex UE4 Uber-shader for archviz (ArCoMa) that will help me to make complex UE4 materials much faster and easier.
