Every good CG artists had been a poor CG artist once. Check out how the winner for this week improved on a previous work of his.
How, then, can you qualify for this award? Please remember that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. Please submit your latest work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other renderer is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of October 10, 2016: Derek Leung.

About Me:
I’m Derek Leung. My friends call me “Chi Wai,” my Chinese name.
Most of my work borders on movies, Game Animations, and some concept design on advertisements. I don't think I'm exceptionally good at any specific area of 3D trade. However, I enjoy using my skills, doing or creating artworks on my job.
No long ago, I joined a production house, called Seed Explosion, which is a started-up by my friend. I am to be a partner with him. This is a challenge. I have to be more professional. I'm learning communication skills and job managing skills, like a child. It's something I've never tried before. I hope everything will be fine.
About "Air-Bus:"
I call it Air-Bus. I came up with that title almost unconsciously. Nothing special. I like it actually--the concept and the mood of the image. I would love to give a small story to it, expressing a situation. However, sometimes I think I'm too lazy to go that far for each of my artworks, including this one.
Some of the details on the image may have a lot of room for improvements that I was too lazy to fix, such as the sky, textures on signboards, and low-poly backgrounds.
