About Me:
My name is Michele Canova. I live in Italy. I've been specializing in Architectural Visualization since 2004. Currently I'm a professional freelancer in ArchViz, Advertising. I'm trying to implement VFX and I've been doing illustrations from time to time. I've been using Blender since 2013/2014 on Ubuntu 14.10. My postproduction tools (as well as compositing node in Blender) are now Gimp and, above all, Pixeluvo.
About "Open ArchViz for Jewelers:"
These images were entirely made in Blender. Modeled with Blender 2.76 and rendered with Cycles. It took 3 days from start to end.
I don't have a fix workflow for rendering. Now I'm trying with 8500 sample, 30 Clamp Indirect but the result is anyway noisy. (I'm currently testing Bwide's NodeGroup, maybe it will be a good solution.) So I denoised in Gimp and post-production in Pixeluvo. I use Pixeluvo for its "Adjustment Layer" tool, since I believe Gimp has a destructive workflow.
Lastly ... my customer asked for more other than these images. So as usual, working on ArchViz, means modifying and improving based on your client's wishes.
