Amid so many Blender users, it seems, there are not many Blender artists who knows how to demonstrate what Blender is really capable of. It's no wonder they have created workshop to train others.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the joint winners of the Render of the Week Award for the week of July 27, 2015: the brothers Vincent and Zacharias Reinhardt.

About Us:
AgenZasBrothers (https://agenzasbrothers.com/) is a German production company led by the brothers Vincent and Zacharias Reinhardt. The firm was founded in 2011. We specialize in Blender training, 3D animation and film production. Throughout the years we've met the needs of a range of customers and also realized personal projects using Blender as our main 3D tool.
About "Memories of the Past:"
This rendering is a still frame out of an animation. It's an example scene for our next Blender Video Workshop called "Movie Scene Creation in Blender 3D." This workshop is intended as an inspiration to enhance the quality of the trainees' 3D works. The workshop will present advanced techniques and interesting tips and tricks that can help one to create beautiful movie scene in 3D--and all of this with reasonable effort. The workshop will be released in October 2015 in English and in September 2015 in German. A free version of the workshop will released in the course of 2016.
For the rendering itself, we were inspired by childhood dreams of giant robots, one finds in a forest that naturally never have existed.
