Check out what Blender can do in the hand of a 3D Generalist.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of August 3, 2020: Bernardo Iraci.

About Me:
My name is Bernardo Iraci, I am a 3D generalist from Italy. I started working as a professional artist about 10 years ago in Poland. In 2017 I moved to Melbourne to follow a job offer as a Lead artist for a VR production company, and then at the end of 2019 I came back to Poland. I always used Blender as my main tool, I love how it has grown so much since
when I started using it! I like so many different aspect of 3D that I never managed to specialize myself in a particular field. That’s why I am a generalist, and honestly I like being one! It’s probably not the best thing to do if you wanna work in a big pipeline, but I feel having an heterogeneous skill set is helpful to find exciting roles in smaller (but not less challenging!)
environments. Getting away from a computer is not always easy, but it’s definitely good from time to time. During those moments I love traveling. In Australia I’ve been on many amazing hikes. Also watching movies or playing video games (even if with the latter as of late is getting hard to find something engaging… am I getting old? :) ) is definitely something I like!

I guess it’s hard to beat just having a beer and a chat in good company however! Unfortunately Covid made that last one especially hard ....
About "Small Things:"
The short “Small Things” is just a way to show the feelings that grew inside me lately, especially during this pandemic. How we approach life, what are our priorities. I have the feeling
that a lot of the things that I always considered very important and to which I dedicated a lot of time and attention, are not the ones that will actually make me happy in the end. I guess it is hard to explain this, but I hope that this short will inspire something in people, and give some emotions related to what I felt lately.
