About Me:
I’m Killian Murphy, 29 and I’m a designer based in Cumbria, England. I have a Degree in Product Innovation and work as a Climbing Wall, Ropes course and Artificial Cave designer for King Kong Climbing Walls. I have always been interested in design and being creative, architectural visualization is a great way to express my creativity.
I started using Blender just over a year ago, with previous experience in other 3d software packages such as Sketchup, Maya, Solidworks and IronCAD. Blender is a great program which can be modified to suit your workflow and best of all it’s free!
About "Evening Hotel Room:"
The Hotel room project was more of a technical piece than a great piece of Art. One of the biggest challenges to overcome in Blender is achieving photo-realism, more so with nighttime interior scenes such as this one. After many different attempts to achieve a convincing nighttime interior scene, I finally got to this finished product.
Due to some of the limitations of Blender a little bit of post-processing was carried out in Photoshop to remove the last of the blur and to correct some of the reflection highlights. That said, 99% of this Scene was completed in Blender.
