Good Arch Viz studios or artists are not common in the market as evident in their published works. Where can you find competent Arch Viz artists & studios? How good is Blender as an arch viz tool? You might find the answers in the arts and comments made by the following artists and studios, some of the many that are scheduled to be featured in this series.

About Me:
My name is Attila Balogh. I'm an architect and visualizer. In recent years, I worked as a lead/partner architect for a medium sized company MM Works (MM Művek) in Budapest. Now I'm living in Brussels and working as a freelance visualizer.
About "Living Room:"
This render has been is made for a conceptual design for a new project to illustrate the design concept for the client. The original design is made by David Long the Architect. The basic model is made with ArchiCad which is a very handy tool to create architectural models as it has many intelligent objects as walls, windows, stairs etc. and basic furniture as well. The fine-tuning of the model was done in Blender with rendering in with Yafaray using Photon Mapping algorithm which is very suitable for interiors. Tone-mapping has been done with Luminance HDR and some post pro as color balance, brightness/contrast and some colour overlay has been done in Photoshop.

About "Living Room:"
This scene is based on P.C. Hooftstraat Apartment by Hofman Dujardin Architects. This was our first real serious experience with the new render engine Cycles. We, at 4u2see studio, want to incorporate this new render into our workflow. We wanted to test it on very hard interior scene with the light coming from the windows. We were very pleased with the result in terms of speed and noise.
