About Me:
I'm Karl Andreas Groß, a digital artist from Germany doing modeling and rendering in the field of product visualization and modeling of sculptures for archiviz.
About "Vintage Motorcycle Ariel 550 SV 1928:"
As a digital 3d modeler, I always loved classic motorcycles, especially the 550 SV. When I was a young kid in the early 80’s, my father owned one of these motorbikes.
With respect to the bike and its beauty, I decided to reconstruct it as a digital model. As there are several variations of the bike, and I had to deal with a lot of design versions in the reference images I used for the modeling. Some details might not be 100% technically accurate. Nonetheless I wanted to capture the beauty of the 550SV, and therefore I decided to make it look new and unused, to give it an elegant and noble look.
I chose a black and white look in low lighting conditions for the rendering of the scenes, because photographs in such a manner are typically rare.
