How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow

About Me:
I’m a hobbyist, not a professional - but have spent many, many years trying to achieve realism and currently leverage Blender, Daz, Substance, ZBrush, and Photoshop.
About "Mundane Render:"
I know its a ‘mundane’ name for a render, but the point is the render was aiming at achieving a casual, non-staged look & feel that you’d expect from a mundane sort of photograph. The render used a Daz Genesis 8 character as the base, then I used Blender’s Sculpt tools to modify it. Hair and textures also groomed and painted in Blender. Rendered using Cycles at 1000 samples on my 2080ti. No post work on this render.
