About Me:
My name is Nandeya Charles I’m a professional 3D artist specialized in architecture. Since my beginning back in 2008, I was using only opensource software. I'm happy today
that this didn't change over the years.
About "San-pedro Project:"
it was requested by a customer living in San-pedro Cote d'Ivoire. Modeling was done in Blender and I also used some paid or free models as well( The bed, sofa in the bedroom, sofa in the Living room). All the other object has to be hand modeled from google photo references.
Rendering was done with LUXCORE new engine ( luxcore 2.1 alpha 3). The reason for that is that the engine is quite fast and effective when Realism is the main goal. All frame rendered for 20 to 30 mn on a 1080ti (some frame were rendered with another machine with an R9 390 + 7970).
Here are the main settings :
Tone mapp linear 1 / auto disableSky + sun (make sure they are not linked for the easy tune) instead of HDRi (Most of the time HDRi required more computational power)Use shader Albedo below 0.8 with sun power >>> 0.0001 / sky 0.0002 you can use a clamp value of 10.(pathocl) Sobol + Log power : diffuse ray 6/ glossy ray 6/ specular ray 12 / max ray 12Denoiser settings :Try theses one :
HDT >>>> 0.7
SW >>>>> 8
Scales >>> 4
PR >>>>>> 1
Switch to Path Ocl and adaptive sampling to 0.95
