How production-ready is Blender Eevee? This week's winner seems to have demonstrated an the answer to that question by his project below.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of August 23, 2021: Joshua O.I. (Ogbemi-Ifediora).

About Me:
My Name is Joshua O.I and I’m a freelance 3d generalist known as Jart_3d. I have a passion for creating beautiful art and animations, and have been doing so for about 2 years now. With software like Blender, Substance painter, and Marvelous designer I am able to bring my ideas into fruition.
About "Sci-fi Ball Drone:"
I based my concept on the design of a foldable drone by Sunsky and adapted it to fit my purposes. My version has a bigger base for carrying drilling equipment and also rotating section for the camera and laser beams. I also added fun lights on the body as well as soft plastic sides that could help cushion impacts.
I made simple controls for the drone using empties and constraints. With it I can open the drone, rotate the blades, rotate the camera, as well as control the drill.
This drone is part of a bigger personal project I am working on in which the drone would be used to break into a building to steal certain things. I’m still working on other assets and a sci fi environment for the final animation..
