How good is Blender's Eevee the real-time render engine when it comes to rendering digital human skin? This week's winners seems to be at the frontier when it comes to exploring that issue.
How, then, can you too qualify for this award? Please have in mind that this award is reserved for those that are on par with or that excel top-notch works published by artists and studios. If such work does not appear during a given week, this award is not being given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, Eevee or Cycles. Any other render engine is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow
So, it is with great pleasure that www.BlenderNews.org introduces to you the winner of the Render of the Week Award for the week of August 2, 2020: Mania Carta.

About Me:
Hello from Tokyo, I am Mania Carta a CG Artist, I have been using Blender for almost a year, and it became my main tool that I use daily for any project I want to make.
About "Project Code VTR:"
How should I start first? The project started when I was working in another character fantasy project called The White Witch Lishteria. I stopped and I wanted to focus on something that I had never done before in my whole artistic career. When I saw a lot talented artists get CG Awards from CG society but also there images was featured in big size I said to my self why my work even it’s cool but they are not on big image, then I wanted to find the answer to this and I found it out. All those talented artists was focusing in high close up details and CG society they like this kind of arts, so then I decided 'why not take this knowledge and research it.' I gained and applied it in Blender but in Real-time, it was a quite challenge with many trial and errors but at the end I tried to achieve what I was looking for.
And that’s why I named the project Code VTR, because at the same time my real focus was not to make a close shots with skin shading of model character but to make a secret character made only in Blender and her name is Blender the Cyber Destroyer to thanks all Blender artists and people in social media who supported me during my journey and that’s how Code VTR started.
As an Artist I don’t have limit. I always like to push my self to strive to achieve the best quality with Blender.
Blender for me is a real beast tool especially with add-ons. I have never seen any other 3D software’s doing that seriously. That’s why it shine always. I only wish that the performance especially for animation and rigging can be improved when making high quality real-time characters such in Unreal Engine.
