About Me:
My name is Paweł Brzustowski and I'm a 3D artist from Poland. I'm interested in hard surface modeling, creating of environmental scenes and photorealistic materials. I also like to learn new things related to lighting and compositing.
About "Baroque Chair:"
This piece of furniture was based on photos of the beautiful ‘Absolom Roche Chair - Black Velvet’. I did this model to improve my modeling and lighting skills. Modeling of all these ornaments was a good challenge for me and I had a lot of fun creating this chair. In the close-ups I did little post production in Blender Node Editor. I added simple lens distortion, glare node, and color correction nodes. To create the hazy picture I used volumetric scatter shader and I mixed the rendered image with the texture of the smoke which I painted in Krita. Other images only have exposure and gamma correction, with I did in Filmic addon for Blender. Of course, whole model was created in Blender and rendered with Cycles + Filmic.
